Welcome to the Cleveland Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA).

The Cleveland AMA is the premier association for marketing professionals in the Cleveland area, and is the sixth oldest of the 78 AMA chapters located across the country! The Cleveland AMA has offered industry knowledge, networking and professional development to marketers in Northeast Ohio since 1934. How, you ask? The Cleveland AMA offers regular dinner and lunch programs each month, open to members and non-members alike, featuring prominent guest speakers from inside and outside the community. The chapter also holds several less-formal “mixer” networking events throughout the year, and hosts periodic in-depth, marketing-focused educational seminars. Congratulations to Kalyn Leeper of John Carroll University for winning the Cleveland AMA’s first $1,000 scholarship for her excellent marketing contest submission!

Featured Resource

As a member of the Cleveland Chapter of the AMA, you get access not only to chapter resources, but resources from AMA´s international headquarters (IH) as well. AMA IH offers a wide variety of research materials, publications and multimedia assets to members, helping them stay up on the latest news, trends and best practices in the industry.

One type of material available to members from the AMA is whitepapers, like a recent piece on “How to Feed the Content Beast (without getting eaten alive)”: A look at the importance of content marketing, and how to create and curate good content under deadline pressure. You can find it, along with many other informative pieces, click here.
